Over the years, Logitech has made a reputation for providing good alternatives to the costly options available in the gaming market and its latest gaming mouse is no exception.

The new G203 Prodigy Gaming Mouse is another such gaming product which gains attention with its functional design and gaming focused features. By the looks of it, there won’t be a wireless option available, but few people will miss it for the price.
The headliner is certainly its stellar responsiveness, thanks to a 2000-6000 DPI sensor for lower latency. The sensitivity can be toggled between five available levels, depending on the use. The mouse also communicates its position to the system at a rate of a thousand reports per second (or once every millisecond), which is up to eight times faster than a conventional mouse.

Design wise, the G203 Prodigy comes with a single strip of LED throughout the mouse, with 16.8 million colors and customizable brightness levels. The design may look old-school otherwise, but it has been crafted to offer “versatility, durability and everyday comfort” and is inspired by the Logitech G100S.
It features six buttons, including the DPI sensitivity switch, which can be all be programmed for gaming usage using the bundled Logitech Gaming Software.
The G203 Prodigy Gaming Mouse will be available from this month for a price-tag of 45 Euros (or $49.99), making it a strong option in the budget gaming mouse market. At this price range, it will probably be competing with the Logitech G502 Proteus, which is one of our favorite gaming mice. so we can’t wait to see how it stacks up in comparison.
